What’s better than a delicious meal when you’re vacationing in Los Angeles, you ask? The most perfect Instagram to brag over afterwards. We put together a collection of restaurants that will be sure to catch the eyes of all your friends (and get you plenty of likes) next time you’re in the LA area.
Located on an eye-catching pier in Malibu is this beautiful gem of a restaurant that serves up some seriously fresh grub and incredible views of the Pacific. Everything here is locally sourced, and some of it is even grown or raised in the owner’s very own backyard. She only believes in simply prepared meals with no secret or “fake” ingredients, so double points for actually eating healthy on that vacation of yours. Snap some sunny photos with the adorable Malibu Farm signage, string lights, ocean views, and rustic decor – your jealous friends will be dying to join you in no time.
We love this LA institution for brunch, especially those toasts! Even better, the kimchi fried rice is a must. You may think it’s a strange choice for breakfast, but you can thank me later. The food is absolutely photo-worthy, but check out the interiors dating back to the 1920s for an even better Instagram.
Alfred’s many locations around the Los Angeles area make it quite convenient to stop by for coffee and a photo in a pinch. Decor at each of these properties is super unique (and obviously gorgeous in every way). Neon signage, floral wallpapers, printed sleeves for your beverages, and colorful tiling make Alfred an absolute must stop for the perfect pic – but first, coffee.
The bright interiors at Gracias Madre are eye-catching as hell. The printed tile on the back of the bar has become almost iconic. Whether you sit indoors or out, you’ll be quick to grab your camera. Once you see these drinks, you’ll go crazy! Seriously, how cute are these? The vegan Mexican fare here is delicious, too. Come hungry!
Touristy? Yes. But how could a spot this cute be left off the list? There’s a reason celebs are known to flock here, and you’ll be wanting to brag all about your glamorous meal after leaving. The picnic-inspired textiles and voluptuous flowers create the perfect backdrop for a shabby chic photo op. The hand painted dinnerware isn’t too bad for a foodie photo, either.
Jessica Biel, you did good. This adorable new spot in West Hollywood makes it easy for moms on the go to enjoy a little break from the kids. While you grab a bite to eat in the lovely backyard, au pairs will keep your children happy with crafts like flower crown making and water color painting. It’s pretty much a real life fairy tale setting, and we’re obsessed.
